A few months back my 360 went dead, Its been sitting in my basement since then, my dad and I have been trying to figure out what to do about it since then, I am more in favor of buying a new 360 Slim, I need the harddrive space and it would be nice to have the built in wifi since im planning on moving it to my room which has a lack of ethernet ability. He favors sending it in to Microsoft. Being 16, one of my main concerns is how long this will take, we live in Iowa, while I have no idea where the nearest repair center is I am pretty sure it is nowhere nearby. Another question I have is weather the repairs will stick, my friend has sent his in over 5 times for the RRoD problem and I would prefer to not have to go through that. Finally now that the 360 S is out what would they send me if they simply chose to replace it, one of the what i hear are discontinued arcade models like I have now or a 360 S?
